A COUPLE OF EXTRA STEPS TO THAT DIRECTION. OLEKSANDRA KADZEVYCH
A COUPLE OF EXTRA STEPS TO THAT DIRECTION. OLEKSANDRA KADZEVYCH

August 22, 2019 - October 12, 2019
In her artistic practice, Oleksandra Kadzevych registers small errors of reality, barely noticeable errors of logic, oscillations and other "instabilities" that make the world visible and tangible. At the same time, she explores the field of historical memory, its transformation and the limits of perception. According to the artist, the past acquires the character of a romantic myth, which is viewed on the global information network.

THE LIGHT OF HELL'S FLOWERING. DMYTRO STARUSIEV
THE LIGHT OF HELL'S FLOWERING. DMYTRO STARUSIEV

May 17, 2019 - July 6, 2019
This exhibition presents a marginalized, egocentrically focused practice that denies global specularization and postulates abnormality as the basis of method and life.
The opportunity to speak opens up social responsibility, where there is no place for fear of the individual.

IMAGINARY DISTANCES. NAZAR BILYK
IMAGINARY DISTANCES. NAZAR BILYK

March 15, 2019 - May 4, 2019
The author talks about himself. Nazar Bilyk's fleeting self-portrait sketch while traveling through mystical Cappadocia reflected and transformed it into a sculptural form similar to Rorschach's monumental spots. Those spots that show human fears and doubts. Each of us will "read" them differently, see exactly what defines his personality.
In this way the author passes on to us.

BOUNDARIES OF EXISTENCE. ETCHINGROOM1 (ANNA KHODKOVA AND KRISTINA YAROSH)
BOUNDARIES OF EXISTENCE. ETCHINGROOM1 (ANNA KHODKOVA AND KRISTINA YAROSH)

January 17, 2019 - March 2, 2019
In a person's life, the question about their place in the world and their imprint in the collective memory arises in a person's life sometimes at least. The pursuit of wealth and fame has leaded and continues to lead the actions of many people, and the more space they occupy, the less remains of others that create inequality and tightness.

In the new exhibition "Soot” (“Kiptiava") artists present the results of a long study of the social environment of Kamianske (until 2016, Dniprodzerzhynsk) - the city with a disturbing environmental situation, economic and, consequently, the demographic crisis connected with the decline of industry. Kamianske as a large industrial city with wide avenues and expansive squares, formed by powerful urban enterprises: DMK, DniproAzot, PCZ, - a generalizing image of the industrial city of Ukraine.

REALITY

CITY "WITHOUT PURPOSE"
CITY "WITHOUT PURPOSE"

April 21, 2018 - June 2, 2018

In the context of rethinking our identity and building a strategy for further development, referring to the analysis of the impact of the Soviet phenomenon is extremely important. The current situation encourages contemporary artists to address the theme of Soviet heritage in their practices and fix it in the city landscape. Their work actually becomes an indicator of changes in the consciousness of the new generation. This allows us to draw a parallel between the vision of reality of the Soviet artist, who witnessed the embodiment of the great utopia, and the fixations of what it left behind.

Curator - Natalia Chichasova

ADELINE KAIL. INTERNATIONAL PHOTO PROJECT "PRESENTED IN ITS NAKEDNESS"
ADELINE KAIL. INTERNATIONAL PHOTO PROJECT "PRESENTED IN ITS NAKEDNESS"

April 13, 2018 - April 19, 2018

The image of the naked body is a psychological, philosophical and aesthetic mirror of any community. In the vortex of permanent renewal in time with the development of art, this image offers an emotional definition of the human essence. Today, the image of a woman is primarily dictated by the pages of glossy magazines, where it is smoothed and modeled according to distorted criteria of beauty. In such publications, the body is not depicted in its life direction, but is often just a fiction.

The exhibition took place as part of the 15th French Spring in Ukraine.

LET'S FORGET. YEHOR ANTSYHIN
LET'S FORGET. YEHOR ANTSYHIN

February 16, 2018 - March 31, 2018

Exploring memory, the artist simulates a painful collision, the conflict of opposite systems and points of view, and invites viewers to observe the battle for memory: personal, historical and public. The artist's question is not even what we remember, but what we forget?

OBSERVATION. BELLA LOHACHOVA
OBSERVATION. BELLA LOHACHOVA
26 січня 2018 - 10 лютого 2018

January 20, 2018 - February 10, 2018
In the age of digital technology, constantly coming under the control of surveillance cameras, our reality is gradually turning into a series of videos compiled by various sources. Trying to escape from following into a meditative state of absence and contemplation ends with intervention of an anxious "eye" that is looking directly at you.
