On June 11 at 6:30 p.m. the exhibition of Lada Nakonechna “Disciplined Vision. School." is opened in the Artsvit Gallery. The exhibition is the first project of the gallery on the new site, within the walls of the Dipro Center for Contemporary Culture. Lada Nakonechna went through all levels of art education in Ukraine. She studied at an art school, Dnipro Art College and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, but as an artist she was formed through self-education and contrary to the post-Soviet academic system. In "Disciplined Vision. School " the artist focuses on art education. Artists studying in higher art institutions of Ukraine still remain the heirs of the school formed in Soviet times. Art education in the Soviet republics was artificially returned to the old academic principles and was taken under the control of the USSR Academy of Arts in the postwar period, which developed its standards.
