Ukrainian podcasts about culture — where are you? We discuss this format, its advantages and disadvantages at a new meeting of the ‘Gallery talks’ project.

Continuing the previous topic of online projects, this Saturday we propose to build a discussion around podcasts about culture.

This format began to spread actively in Ukraine several years ago. During this time, a lot of content on various topics has appeared. Now we have a wide choice of what and whom to listen to today. So we think this phenomenon is worth discussing, and we will focus on the following questions:

♦ Which podcast introduced you to this format?

♦ What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of such content?

♦ Topic or speaker — what criteria do you use to choose a podcast?

♦ Which Ukrainian podcasts about culture do you listen to or find interesting/useful?

Come and share your thoughts on podcasts as a format or learn from others' experiences — maybe someone will open your eyes to something new, or maybe it will inspire you to listen to your first podcast.

WHEN: Saturday, 6 May, 15:00

WHERE: Artsvit Gallery, 21a Krutohirnyy Uzviz

Admission is free, but registration is required to participate.

The curator and author of the programme is our project manager Oleksandra Shovkun.

These processes are viewed as multidimensional — material, ideological, collective and personal, yet both mundane and tragic.

Waldemar Tatarchuk returns to Dnipro for the closing of his exhibition and will conduct a tour!

This will be the last day of the exhibition — a kind of finale and, at the same time, an opportunity to see the project and hear about it directly from its author. During the tour, the artist will guide visitors through the exhibition and talk about the ideas behind it, as well as his collaboration with Ukrainian artists, which has become an important part of this project.
