The phrase ‘artificial intelligence’ appears more and more frequently in our information space every year and is becoming more accessible to the average Internet user. Nowadays, anyone can try to generate an image or text based on keywords. At the same time, this phenomenon raises many questions, and each case of artificial intelligence use in the arts gives rise to new challenges and even controversies.
Therefore, we propose to consider this complex and ambiguous intervention of artificial intelligence in the art space using specific examples: to look at the ways it is used, the problems it raises, and the reaction of society to the active introduction of this technology into our lives.
In our opinion, this topic deserves a separate discussion and is in line with the recently presented interactive project ‘The Exhibition I Would Like to See’. After the discussion, we also invite you to try to generate your own ‘imaginary’ exhibition using artificial intelligence — to get acquainted with it in practice, so to speak.
