The topic of the previous conversation in the gallery proved its relevance and importance for discussion — at that time, we considered how artificial intelligence (AI) is implemented in visual art. The conclusion of the discussion was the recognition of this technology as a partner, a useful tool in creativity. However, AI is used in various fields and is currently having an impact on our entire culture, forcing us to rethink a number of questions to which answers seemed to have already been found.
That is why this Saturday, at the final meeting of the ‘Gallery Talks’ project, we invite you to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on our lives in general, focusing on the following questions:
♦ What changes are we already seeing?
♦ Does the rapid development of AI pose a threat to our daily lives, and if so, how?
♦ What issues does AI require us to rethink (ethical issues, questions of authorship, what constitutes art, etc.)?
♦ Is it necessary to establish rules for the use of AI or other formats to limit its capabilities?
♦ How can AI already be used to facilitate our own creative work and search for new means of development?
We remind you that the interactive project ‘The Exhibition I Want to See’ is ongoing at the Artsvit Gallery until 10 June, within which the conversation cycle will take place. Those who have not yet used artificial intelligence to generate their own ‘imaginary’ exhibition are invited to join this exciting process.
WHEN: Saturday, 3 June, 15:00
WHERE: Artsvit Gallery, 21a Krutohirnyy Uzviz
Admission is free, but registration is required to participate.
The curator and author of the programme is our project manager Oleksandra Shovkun.
