The Artsvit for Kids program is back with a new course, and we are pleased to invite children aged 7-10 to a summer journey through books, theater workshops, kitchens, and the shadows of fairy tales.
This year, our classes will be more like fairy tale adventures, where every word comes to life, a story is invented from what is at hand, and cardboard and wool turn into books and cupcakes right before our eyes. "Those Who Pull Stories Out of Boxes" is an art program for all book lovers, adults and children: those who can't read yet and those who read day and night, those who draw stories and those who love to look at pictures, those who have already found their favorite book and those who are still looking for it. And definitely for everyone who wants to create their own!
The project starts on June 7. The course consists of 4 offline classes lasting 1.5 hours, which will be held every Saturday* at 13:00. There will also be a final event.
Class topics:
♦ Limericks and shadows - June 7;
♦ Books that grow out of boxes - June 14;
♦ Cooking fairy tales - June 21;
♦ Thieves and masks - June 28.
*We will inform parents about possible changes in the date and time of classes on our social media and in the project's group chat.
The classes will be held at 21a Krutohirnyi Uzviz, Dnipro, Artsvit Gallery. Entrance through the glass sliding doors from the side of Uspenskaya Square.
Entrance is free.
Please note: to participate in the program, you need to register for each class, as the number of places is limited! Every week we will publish a new registration form for the next class, so stay tuned. Find links to new registrations here!

The educational platform "Artsvit for Kids" has been operating since 2014. Each of its iterations touches upon new topics and techniques, but one thing remains unchanged — the desire to open the multifaceted world of art to children and refute the idea that it is boring or difficult to understand. We are convinced that through creativity, children get to know themselves better and acquire a variety of skills that are useful in adulthood and in any profession, even technical ones.
However, we would like to emphasize that this project is not an academic education; our teachers do not teach children to draw. Communication is an important factor in the program, we want to integrate children and teenagers into the art community, to organize a dialogue, to refute the idea of art as something boring and difficult to understand. We believe that the younger generation deserves to have a broad outlook, and that art and culture in general not only enrich them aesthetically, but also educate them as conscious citizens.
