This year Artsvit Gallery turns 10 years old! And we decided to celebrate the anniversary with a program of public events, compiled from the main areas of our work - thus showing that Artsvit continues to operate despite everything and highlighting what the gallery has been doing over the years. These are exhibitions, educational programs for children and adults, residencies and replenishment of the gallery's collection. And you, our visitors, are an integral part of this story! So we invite you to join the following events:
JULY 5, 18:30
♦ “Where we've been for 10 years” - a conversation about the outstanding projects of the Artsvit gallery;
♦ Presentation of the Secondary Archive project, a unique online archive of statements by Central and Eastern European artists, launched by the Katarzyna Kozyra Foundation (Warsaw, Poland). In 2021, Artsvit Gallery became the Ukrainian partner of this important initiative.
From July 5 to August 5, we are presenting a special project within the Archive, which was created for the Manifesta 14 Biennale (Pristina, Kosovo) in 2022. These are 14 audio works by Ukrainian artists;

JULY 7, 18:30
Lecture by Olena Godenko-Nakonechna “Contemporary Art of Dnipro”.
The cultural critic will talk about the contemporary art of the city, the emergence of the Dnipro school of fine arts: from alternative to official, and the specifics of the local “cultural landscape.” She will also touch upon prominent figures and notable cultural events of recent decades in the city's cultural and artistic environment, reactions to the tragic events of the full-scale war, and international contacts to spread Ukrainian narratives around the world.
JULY 8
♦ Artsvit for Kids. Me and the world around me.
“Exploring and restoring the world to find ourselves in it: through movement, storytelling, animation” - children together with our teachers will interact with the gallery space, create live installations and learn more about themselves and others.
Two classes will be held:
◊ 12:00 p.m. - for children 6-9 years old | REGISTER
◊ 14:30 - for children aged 10-13 years old | REGISTER
