Tigers in the Garden: we invite you to the final event of the Integration Lab in Warsaw

The Integration Lab is coming to an end and its participants from Dnipro and Warsaw are about to unite in a single group to apply new experiences and knowledge at the final event of the residency, which will take place on June 22 at 3:00 p.m. — it will be an artistic intervention by participants of the Integration Lab at the exhibition "Tiger Came into the Garden. The Art of Maria Prymachenko" in the Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie / Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

Together with the participants of the Integration Lab, we invite you to plant a Garden with Tigers near the Pavilion of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw with us.

Artists from the frontline city of Dnipro, will provide us with seedlings, seeds, soil and water from the Dnipro River, creating a ritual of integrating "tiger" plants near the museum. The performance refers in form to a ritual, and also relates directly to the title of Maria Prymachenko's exhibition at the museum.

Artists: Anna Galasyuk, Marina Dyshlova, Uliana Khomich, Kateryna Koniushenko, Mariia Lozova, Renata Miroshnykova, Olena Misiura, Kristina Mos, Tetiana Pavliuk, Asya Yakovlieva

The Integration Lab is a collaborative project between Artsvit Gallery from Dnipro (Ukraine) and the Solidarity House of Culture “Sunflower” as part of the public program of the exhibition "Tiger Came into the Garden. The Art of Maria Prymachenko" at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, aiming to create a common space for action, reflection and integration in new communities.

From March to the end of June, the Lab worked in the SDK Słonecznik space at 3 Panska Str and in parallel in Dnipro at Artsvit Gallery. Within the meetings, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of performative actions and collective practices, working with mentors in the form of workshops and lectures. On June 22, in (and around) the exhibition space, the Lab group will present the final work in the form of an intervention in an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

The partner of the Integration Lab is Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Muzeum

Integration Lab is financed by the “Culture Helps/ Культура допомагає” project, which is co-funded by the European Union under a dedicated call for proposals to support Ukrainian displaced people and the Ukrainian Cultural and Creative Sectors. The project is a cooperation between Insha Osvita (UA) and zusa (DE).

Integration Lab was co-funded by the Mieroszewski Center as part of the 2nd Open Call.
