We are excited to invite you to a long-awaited event for the Artsvit team — the presentation of the gallery’s collection website next Friday!
The event will feature Victoriia Nikitina, curator of the collection, and Oksana Barshynova, art historian and Deputy Director of the National Art Museum of Ukraine. The discussion will be moderated by Oleksandra Shovkun.
During the presentation, we will talk about private collections, their importance and role in Ukrainian art. A special focus will be placed on the unique character and value of our collection for the regional community, as well as its significance for preserving cultural heritage.
What else will we discuss? We will present our approach to creating convenient online access to the collection, including different ways of searching for artworks that may be of interest to users. In particular, we will talk about contextual keyword search, which reveals the diversity of the collection and opens up opportunities to explore and discover it from multiple perspectives at once.
We will be happy to see you at the event — to hear questions, suggestions, and thoughts on your own vision of the collection and the aspects of it that feel most relevant today.
