After an eventful summer filled with new experiences, ideas, and encounters, we are starting the autumn season by announcing the results of the Open Studio Programme, which will run from September until early November.
For eight Saturdays, one of the gallery’s spaces will transform into an Open Studio. The invited artists will introduce their artistic practices and activities through public artist talks and workshops available by registration. At the end of the day, we invite you to continue the informal conversation and reflect on the gained knowledge and impressions in the cosy atmosphere of Dniproprostir.
Each workshop offers different ways of giving artistic form to ideas: from working with textiles and pastel made from coal dust to reinterpreting artefacts from family photo albums and recreating the forgotten technique of sgraffito.
Programme participants: Svitlana Ahranovska, Emma Hamza Grünwald, Oksana Zharun, Inga Levi, Anastasiia Leliuk, Olesya Papushnikova, Anna Taradina, Emma Hamzayeva, Asya Yakovlieva.
Kurator: Oleksandra Shovkun.
Design: Olena Misiura.
The residen.cy is part of the «Expanded Learning» program, implemented with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. All materials produced within the program reflect the views of their authors and do not necessarily represent the position of the International Renaissance Foundation.
