The Body as Art — a performance workshop as part of Yulia Grishina's children's art programme

We invite young people aged 14 to 18 to attend the workshop ‘The Body as Art’ as part of the course ‘About Art Here and Now,’ which will take place on 4 November at 4 p.m. The mentor for the class is dancer and performer Yulia Grishina.

Living in our own bodies, we do not always use their full potential. And we certainly do not consider them as objects of study or tools for creating art. In this workshop, we will try to remedy this situation, allowing ourselves to live, reflect and speak with our bodies, and get to know famous performers and Ukrainian artists.

To register for the workshop, follow the link: https://linktr.ee/artsvit_for_kids — we look forward to seeing you there!

WHEN: 4 November 2023, at 16:00
WHERE: Artsvit Gallery, Dnipro, Krutohirnyy Uzviz 21a. Entrance from Krutohirnyy Uzviz

Admission is free. Registration is required!

The Open Call for Residency in Performative Practices

Together with the residency curator, Waldemar Tatarczuk, we propose to explore performance as an intermedial method of artistic practice — one that allows for experimental approaches to creative processes where action, time, presence, and lived experience become the material.

We welcome applications from performers, theatre practitioners, and people open to collective experimentation with backgrounds in visual arts, contemporary music, DJing, generative media, writing, drag, and other artistic disciplines.
