The Artsvit Gallery will soon launch an interactive project called ‘The Exhibition I Want to See’

On 19 May at 7 p.m., the Artsvit Gallery will host the opening of the interactive project ‘The Exhibition I Would Like to See’. It will run until 10 June 2023.

We invite you to join the exhibition, where everyone can become an author and bring their vision of the exhibition to life. We invite you to imagine what you would like to see in the gallery space.

This project is a kind of response to people's acute need for a space where they can immerse themselves in their own thoughts and feelings, reflect on them and become aware of them. What do you feel, what moves you, what emotions are stirring inside you? Thanks to art, which among other functions also has a cathartic one, visitors will be able to seek answers to these questions and thus restore their mental balance through the practice of escaping reality into their inner selves.

The exhibition invites visitors to change their usual point of view, to try to look at art through the eyes of the author, without distancing themselves from their own viewing needs and expectations, but rather focusing on them — to imagine and capture their desired visions.

The result of the project will be a collection of various ‘imaginary exhibitions’ in a collective expression based on the inner, personal, unique voice of each visitor to the Artsvit Gallery.

So, imagine the exhibition you want to see.

The Open Call for Residency in Performative Practices

Together with the residency curator, Waldemar Tatarczuk, we propose to explore performance as an intermedial method of artistic practice — one that allows for experimental approaches to creative processes where action, time, presence, and lived experience become the material.

We welcome applications from performers, theatre practitioners, and people open to collective experimentation with backgrounds in visual arts, contemporary music, DJing, generative media, writing, drag, and other artistic disciplines.
