At the workshop, which starts at 12:00, the artist will share her own creative method of working with photo wallpapers — the material that became the basis of her project “Welcome to Paradise”. We will talk about how mass culture creates imaginary “paradise” spaces, and how through art we can overlay personal memories, emotions and experiences on them.
During the class, each participant will be able to create their own work on a piece of photo wallpaper, using collage or acrylic paint. Together with Karina, we will remember the places we feel attached to, the stories that have stayed with us, and layer them on idealized images of “paradise”. This is an interesting opportunity to turn a ready-made decorative background into an individual landscape of memory — with your signs, colors and your own sense of space.
As a result, you will have a unique original work that transforms a familiar interior image, combines it with your personal experience - a small fragment of your own, reinterpreted "paradise".
Workshop duration: about 2.5 hours
Entrance is free, with mandatory registration, as the number of places is limited!
