On December 18, co-curator of the new exhibition Stakh Shablovsky will give a lecture "Bureaucrat from Art. Citizen. Artist"

Waldemar Tatarchuk has never stopped being an artist, while for the past fifteen years he has been the director of a gallery. Although the focus of the exhibition is Tatarchuk's work and his collaboration with Ukrainian artists, his role as a "bureaucrat of art" as the director of the Labyrinth Gallery in Lublin is also highlighted.

Can gallery management be considered a form of artistic activity? Who is the curator primarily: a citizen, a politician or a creator? Is an anti-institutional institution even possible? In this lecture we will try to answer these questions by examining Tatarchuk's curatorial and institutional activities from 2010 to 2025 as a thematic case.

Starts at 6:30 PM, admission is free

Attention: the event will take place even in the event of possible power outages.

The Open Call for Residency in Performative Practices

Together with the residency curator, Waldemar Tatarczuk, we propose to explore performance as an intermedial method of artistic practice — one that allows for experimental approaches to creative processes where action, time, presence, and lived experience become the material.

We welcome applications from performers, theatre practitioners, and people open to collective experimentation with backgrounds in visual arts, contemporary music, DJing, generative media, writing, drag, and other artistic disciplines.
