On the last day of the project, namely September 20, its curator Nikita Kadan will visit us and conduct a final tour of the exhibition.
His story will focus on the figures of military artists. Those whose practice is limited in means and resources, suspended or interrupted by war. It will also discuss the third part of the exhibition cycle “Looking into the Gaps”, which will be implemented in 2025-2026 between Sokolovsko (Poland), Teshima (Japan), Berlin and Tokyo, and is dedicated to the topic of the influence of war conditions and circumstances on artistic activity.

The exhibition project “Looking into the Gaps” was initiated by Voloshyn Gallery in 2024. The exhibition was realized at the Artsvit Gallery and Dnipro Center for Contemporary Culture in collaboration with Voloshyn Gallery (Kyiv) and Assortment Room (Ivano-Frankivsk).
The exhibition features works from the collections of the Artsvit Gallery, Pavlo Martynov, Voloshyn Gallery, Nikita Kadan and Oleg Holosiy’s Estate, and TheNakedRoom Gallery and Margarita Polovinko’s Estate.
