The birthday of the Artsvit Gallery is gradually approaching, so it's time to tell you more about our programme of events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the institution!
Let's start with an announcement of a special class for children, ‘Artsvit for Kids: Me and the World Around Me’, because our educational programmes within the framework of the ‘Artsvit for Kids’ project are undoubtedly one of the main areas of the gallery’s work. It will take place on 8 July.
‘Let's explore and restore the world to find ourselves in it: through movement, storytelling, and animation’ — children, together with our teachers, will interact with the gallery space, create live installations, and learn more about themselves and others. They will combine knowledge about people and nature through an introduction to bionics, as well as try to learn about the ideas that people have borrowed from birds and animals to create engineering structures and art, invent their own inventions, heroes and stories about them, and then visualise their ideas through the art of animation.
There will be two classes:
♦ 12:00 — for children aged 6-9 | REGISTER
♦ 14:30 — for children aged 10-13 | REGISTER
Registration for classes is mandatory!

The idea behind the Artsvit for Children art programme for children aged 6 to 13 is to introduce children to the multifaceted and interesting world of contemporary art, to tell them about its trends, techniques, and artists. Our goal is not to teach children how to draw, but to show them that the world of art is multifaceted and interesting, and to refute the idea that it is boring or difficult to understand. We are convinced that through art, children can better understand the world and acquire various skills that will be useful in the adult world and in any profession, even technical ones.
