Attention, starting December 24, the Artsvit Gallery is on vacation!

We will resume our work on January 7, 2025, so we will meet in the future. We remind you that the exhibition by Bohdan Buchkovsky "Graze Pavlo the cowww" will last until January 11 inclusive.

2024 was a year of trials and important achievements for us. In the conditions of war, facing numerous challenges, the Artsvit Gallery continued its work: we experimented a lot with the formats of programs and events to ensure maximum comfort and safety for our visitors, looked for new ways of development and implementation of initiatives, including online.

We paid special attention to the educational component: this year we implemented several programs, including both for adults (from performance) and for children and adolescents, because we understand how important it is to give a voice to those who now need support the most, to create a space for emotional self-expression and development through art and creativity.

Another key aspect of our activities has become international cooperation. Working together with foreign partners has allowed us to maintain cultural ties, exchange experiences and ideas, and continue to create and showcase Ukrainian art in the world.

We are infinitely grateful to:
♦ our partners for their tireless support and trust in these difficult times;
♦ curators and artists who implement bold and important projects that inspire and open new horizons;
♦ visitors who continue to be with us, despite constant threats and inconveniences;
♦ and, of course, our military who courageously defend Ukraine, giving us the opportunity to work and create.

Together, we show that culture is not only about art, but also about resilience, unity, and unwavering faith in the future. Thank you for staying with us. There are still many important projects, joint achievements, and victories ahead!

See you again next year, your Artsvit ♥

Next Wednesday, we’re opening an audiovisual installation based on your stories about Dnipro

“The Museum of Forgetting” is a series of projects combining research with artistic expression. It focuses on forgetting as a counterform of memory: the repression of traumatic experiences, the conscious ‘purification’ of the unwanted, gradual disappearance through physical decay, or transformation dictated by the need for renewal. These processes are viewed as multidimensional — material, ideological, collective and personal, yet both mundane and tragic.

Waldemar Tatarchuk returns to Dnipro for the closing of his exhibition and will conduct a tour!

This will be the last day of the exhibition — a kind of finale and, at the same time, an opportunity to see the project and hear about it directly from its author. During the tour, the artist will guide visitors through the exhibition and talk about the ideas behind it, as well as his collaboration with Ukrainian artists, which has become an important part of this project.
