The Relocated Animation project is heading to Dnipro!

Artsvit Gallery and Dnipro Centre for Contemporary Culture have joined an interesting and important project aimed at freeing up time for parents to relax and promoting emotional recovery and development in children.

Relocated Animation in Dnipro is a series of free events for parents and children who want to try their hand at the art of creating animated films.

The organisers have prepared a two-day programme consisting of workshops and screenings.

A detailed description of each event can be found at the link below.

♦ 2 September:

◊ 11:00-16:00 — animation workshop for ages 8-14.
Registration: http://surl.li/jwvdi.

◊ 17:00-18:00 — animation screening for children aged 7-9.
Registration: http://surl.li/jbeft.

The screening will take place at: 21a Krutogirny Uzviz, Artsvit Gallery. Entrance through the central door on the Krutogirny Uzviz side.

♦ 3 September:

◊ 11:00-16:00 — art therapy workshop for children aged 10-16.
Registration: http://surl.li/jwvcl.

Please note that registration for all events is mandatory and the number of places is limited. Also:
— each child can only participate in one event: either the master class on the first day or art therapy on the second (in order to allow as many people as possible to join the project);
— parents must be present during the animation screening;
— Parents do not need to be present during the master class/art therapy session.
— There will be a lunch break during the master class/art therapy session for children.
— Participation in all activities is free of charge, upon registration.

The project is implemented by Linoleum Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

The Open Call for Residency in Performative Practices

Together with the residency curator, Waldemar Tatarczuk, we propose to explore performance as an intermedial method of artistic practice — one that allows for experimental approaches to creative processes where action, time, presence, and lived experience become the material.

We welcome applications from performers, theatre practitioners, and people open to collective experimentation with backgrounds in visual arts, contemporary music, DJing, generative media, writing, drag, and other artistic disciplines.
