Support for women in the culture of Ukraine during the war

In April, Artsvit gallery started cooperation with New York lifestyle company Duette. Our partners initiated a charity auction and collected donations from their audience to transfer these funds to support women in the culture of Ukraine during the war. At the end of April, we announced an open call among women to learn more about those who currently need support. So we received more than 70 applications with unique stories from colleagues from all over the country.

Finally, we can share the first results and tell about those who have received a financial payment so far:
Iryna Karnaukh - chief librarian of the Kharkiv State Scientific Library named after V. G. Korolenko, youth worker, trainer of the School of Library Journalism, administrator of the "Library unites nations and cultures" page.
Anna Vereshchaka is an artist from Kyiv.
Anastasiia Maliyova is an artist, illustrator, and teacher from Rubizhne.
Olena Drobysheva is an artist who left occupied Donetsk in 2020 and, as of February 24, lived near Bucha and Borodianka.
Marta Hosovska is a translator who lost her job when the full-scale invasion began.

A little earlier, Duette supported artists Tamara Turliun, Kateryna Lysovenko, and Katya Libkind.
Together with Duette, we continue our work to establish a system of collecting and transferring funds to Ukraine to support more women.
