We are beginning the digital processing of the complete Artsvit Gallery collection.
War deprives us of what is worth remembering. Art, in turn, preserves the connection between memory and history. The fragility of artworks in times of war prompts a renewed understanding of their value.
The gallery’s collection brings together established artists from different generations alongside compelling yet lesser-studied local authors. Its key areas of focus include print graphics, industrial and urban themes, Soviet informal and young contemporary art. Altogether it offers offers a unique perspective, discovering names and movements that have remained overlooked.
Making the collection available online opens it to a wider audience and the professional community, encouraging its active inclusion in exhibitions and research projects. Our collection contains many works that form part of Ukraine’s cultural heritage, and it is important to us to make them visible and accessible.
