Next week, Lyusya Ivanova returns to Dnipro!

There are less than two weeks left until the end of Lucy Ivanova's exhibition "Warm Optics" - the project ends on June 14. However, don't be upset, because we have a little surprise for you: the day before, the artist returns to Dnipro to talk about the exhibition, her practice and creative plans. You will also have the opportunity to chat with the artist and ask her questions during the artist talk.

Lucia Ivanova was born in 1989 in Dnipro. She studied at the Dnipropetrovsk Theater and Art College in the studio of Hryhoriy Cherneta. Later, she graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, where she worked in the studio of Vasyl Hurin. Her specialty is “Easeline Painting”. She is a member of the collective of artists “Montage”, the Festival of Young Ukrainian Artists (Mystetskyi Arsenal, 2017, as part of the collective), the Biennial of Young Art (Kharkiv, 2019). She is a regular participant in the international land art symposium in Mogrytsa. In 2019–2020, together with Yegor Antsygin, she was a co-curator of the visual art direction of the Artswit Gallery Residency Program. In 2022, Lyusya will be a resident of the Vienna Academy of Arts, and in 2022–23 — the Fontecchio Residency Programme from MAXXI L’Aquila. She had solo exhibitions at Kahan Art Space in Vienna (2023) and Budapest (2024). Lucy's works have been presented at Liste Art Fair (2022) and Vienna Contemporary (2023, 2024). In 2024 she joined the Secondary Archive project. She lived in Kyiv before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. She lives and works in Vienna.

Waldemar Tatarchuk returns to Dnipro for the closing of his exhibition and will conduct a tour!

This will be the last day of the exhibition — a kind of finale and, at the same time, an opportunity to see the project and hear about it directly from its author. During the tour, the artist will guide visitors through the exhibition and talk about the ideas behind it, as well as his collaboration with Ukrainian artists, which has become an important part of this project.

Soon, the Artsvit Gallery will launch a website about its collection

We often talk about the Artsvit Gallery collection, and sometimes you can see its works at exhibitions in different cities of Ukraine and even abroad. However, most of the time it remains closed — not only to the general public, but also to the professional community.

That is why we want to change this: we are currently working on an online platform that will make our art collection visible and more accessible — for curators, artists, researchers, and viewers. The future website will make it easier to find works, research them, and discover new opportunities for creative collaboration.
